Dr. Yoshiaki Damon Hagiwara

The Winner of The Global High-Tech Award 2024

Professor Hagiwara is a world-renowned engineer and scientist. From 1975 to 2008, he worked at Sony, where he led development teams for digital cameras and the PlayStation 2/3 game console chipsets. His pioneering contributions to image sensors, ADCs, DRAMs, and microcontrollers have had a lasting impact on modern electronics.

He has been a speaker at numerous international conferences, a member of professional standardization committees, and has taught at Caltech, Gunma University, and Sojo University. In 2008, he founded the AIPLAB consortium and currently leads the LOCOMTEC AIPS Laboratory, focusing on artificial intelligence, clean energy, and robotics solutions.

Lusine Gevorgyan

Chairperson of the Tourism Committee of the RA

Lusine Gevorgyan was appointed Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia on October 31, 2024, following a decision by the Prime Minister.

Prior to this role, she served as a City Council Member and Head of Government and Public Affairs from 2018 to 2024.

With over a decade of experience, Lusine has contributed to the State Revenue Committee of Armenia and Digitain Group of Companies, where she coordinated major projects.

As Chairperson, she is focused on strengthening the tourism industry, fostering sustainable growth, and supporting local communities—efforts that help preserve Armenia’s heritage and pass it on to future generations.

Lusine is also dedicated to advancing women’s inclusion in business and government and has authored entrepreneurship training courses.
