Silicon Mountains Tech Summit

Launched by UEICT in 2019, Silicon Mountains is Armenia’s premier tech event. It brings together global tech leaders, startups, investors, and top government officials—including the Prime Minister—for productive public-private dialogue. To date, the summit has hosted over 100 world-class speakers and 10,000+ participants. Since 2024, it has grown into a twice-a-year event, expanding from Yerevan into Armenia’s regional innovation hubs.

RISE Expo & Forum

Building on its strong debut, the RISE Expo & Forum—organized by UEICT and supported by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry—unites science, engineering, defense tech, and innovation. The forum featured 500+ participants and 19 speakers across three key panels: Defense Industry Challenges, Engineering as an Economic Driver, and Cybersecurity. The exhibition drew over 5,000 visitors and 40 showcasing companies, putting Armenia’s growing tech and engineering strengths in the spotlight.

The Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies (UEICT) was founded in 2015 by leading ICT companies in Armenia. Today, it brings together more than 140 member organizations, including multinational and local tech companies, banks, startups, educational institutions, and the country’s major telecommunications operators.

UEICT is a leading voice for Armenia’s ICT sector, working to advance education, support economic growth, strengthen public-private collaboration, and enhance the country’s global positioning. The Union has launched impactful projects in STEM education, business development, and public-private dialogue (PPD)—all while actively raising Armenia’s visibility on the international tech map.
