In 2014, Mr. Murthy was ranked 13th among CNBC’s 25 global business leaders. Fortune magazine listed him among the ‘12 greatest entrepreneurs of our time’ in 2012. Mr. Murthy received Padma Vibhushan from India in 2008, Officer of Legion d’honneur from France in 2008, and CBE from Britain in 2007. The Economist ranked him among the 10 most-admired global business leaders in 2005. The Financial Times’ list of “Business pioneers in technology” ranked him among the top 10 in March 2015. He is the first Indian winner of Ernst and Young’s World Entrepreneur of the Year award.

The annual Silicon Mountains Tech Summit organized by the Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies (UEICT) has been held since 2019.

Over the years the event has established itself as a premier platform for discussing the future of technological advancements, bringing together government officials, international and local experts, industry leaders, startups, and students. the Summit serves as a collaborative space to explore high-tech innovations and their socio-economic impacts globally, as well as to identify the opportunities and challenges for Armenia.

The Silicon Mountains Tech Summit 2024, dedicated to the application and challenges of artificial intelligence in economy, will take place on November 15-16th at Dvin Hall. This two-day event will feature the main Summit on November 15, followed by B2B meetings on the second day involving invited speakers, public authorities, and representatives from Armenian companies.

This session will delve into the development and application of AI across industries, discussing how AI transforms the economy, promotes innovation, and the opportunities and challenges along the way.

Focusing on the financial aspects of AI, this panel will explore what are the benefits of making investments in creation, development, and application of AI. How AI impacts investment strategies, financial predictability, and the efficiency of investments across sectors for financial organizations, investment funds, and individual investors.
